Dream come true...

Only 5 days until a life long dream becomes a reality.  For as long as I can remember I have had a deep desire not just to travel the world but to experience all of its wonders, to unlock the hidden treasures and feel the joy of exploring the unknown somewhere far across the globe. This desire has taken me to many places around the World yet there is one part I have always longed to experience but have never had the opportunity... Europe!!!!  I have read about it in books, seen it in countless movies and have listened to friends recall their many personal adventures. Still none of this is the same as experiencing it for ones self.  

Now the reservations are made and transportation all arranged. It is becoming a reality. It is a lot to jam into 2 weeks but you can bet that I will be soaking up every moment, committing it to memory so as not to forget one breathtaking second. Personally I am just hoping that two weeks is long enough for me to adapt some form of European accent. But as much as I desire to see all the landmarks that draw crowds to these famous cities, I am even more excited for the unscheduled times we have built into our itinerary. The times that will be spent just wondering and getting lost in the beauty of each city, to feel it's heart beat and watch life happening there.

My heart is full of anticipation and my mind slightly cluttered with all the details, but I am overwhelmed with excitement. It's not every day you get to see one of your life long dreams coming true.
